+RAIN Film Festival is Europe's first international AI-generated film festival . The Festival focuses its gaze on new creative practices, experimentation and the integration of generative AI in the audiovisual industrial fabric.

+RAIN is defined as a transdisciplinary meeting space that brings together the most outstanding profiles in the fields of research, experimentation and AI-assisted film creation. The festival hosts the best international cinematographic productions generated with AI, and includes the presentation of ongoing software projects and developments for application in the cultural, creative and technological industries.

The festival explores contemporary film storytelling based on this technology, as well as its aesthetic, ethical and political implications.

The second edition of +RAIN will be held on June 11, 12, 2024, in Barcelona, ​​​​at the Pompeu Fabra University, and on June 13 and 14 at Sónar. Submission deadline is due March 13th!
